This is one of my favourite walks first thing in the morning – the steep climb up the Combe might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it will certainly wake you up!

The best way to find this walk is to use the postcode of the Goblin Combe Environment Centre’s address:
Plunder St, Bristol BS49 4PQ

However the car park they use isn’t directly alongside their building and can be found a short way up the road on the left hand side (if you’re approaching from the A370).
From the car park you need to walk past the environment centre’s building on Plunder Street, and down to a 7 bar gate. Once through the side of that gate you’re Goblin Combe.

Depending on how energetic you’re feeling there are a few different routes around the woods. We particularly like to hike up the path to the left hand side when you meet the fork in the path, but if you’re looking for something less strenuous then continue straight on up the Combe. You can then choose to do a loop or simply turn around and come back down once you’ve had enough.
Today I’m grateful for the Easter weekend and the opportunity to spend it with some of the people and dogs I love most in the world. Hope you have a good one planned too 🙂
