Spaniel Gun Dog Workshop with Sue Watkins, 3-Hour Workshop

I’m pleased to be hosting Sue Watkins, Connected Canines for this Spaniel Gun Dog workshop.

This workshop is for Spaniels such as:

• Springers, Cockers, Sprockers, etc.

The workshop will help teach you an outlet for your dog’s natural behaviours.

With a bit of time and patience, these are games that you can take out and about on walks.

This gives both your dog and you, some interactive and constructive fun!

In this workshop you will learn:

• A variety of whistle cues, how to build and strengthen them
• Retrieve patterns and types of retrieves
• Improving lead walking by pairing it with desired activities

Although the workshop will have a structure there will be room for participants to talk about and explore areas of training that interest or challenge them.

My dog is so easily distracted and doesn’t do well in a group class – can I spectate instead?

You will learn lots of valuable information by both taking part with your dog, or watching as a spectator too.

About the training venue

The workshop will be held outside in my fenced training field.

We will go ahead if light rain/ wind is forecast, but you would be notified of cancellation in the event of very bad weather.
