Preparing for a baby is such an exciting time for new parents – it opens up a whole new world, which is both daunting and something to look forward to at the same time. There is lots of information out there for new parents about how to set up a nursery and the baby paraphernalia you’ll need after your baby is born, but less advice about how to prepare your unsuspecting dog for the new arrival.
It’s definitely something that you’ll want to start thinking about ahead of bringing baby home. It’ll be an easier introduction if your dog has some help leading up to it – here are some of the things I did to prepare my two collies and my parents two terriers for when I brought my eldest son Jamie home from the hospital.
